Experience
Jasmine has been a freelance writer and editor for five years, working for both local, understaffed newspapers and national magazines. After graduating in 2017, she took a job as a stenographer in Washington, DC, where she witnessed criminal trials, military hearings, and U.S. agency meetings. She went on to work as a news reporter in the small town of Sanford, North Carolina before freelancing for publications including Screen Rant and Men’s Health. She currently writes for INDY Week, Raleigh’s premiere alt-weekly newspaper, where she penned an award-winning story about hot dog vendors. Jasmine joined Static Media in 2022, specializing in hidden history and weird-but-true stories.
Education
Jasmine has a bachelor's degree in English and political science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a minor in public policy.
