THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT BELIEVED TO HAVE HAD THE LOWEST IQ

The American President needs to be someone with intelligence, high enough to be able to make decisions that help run a country. However, over the years, there were some Presidents in the Oval Office who were less intelligent than their peers.
The psychology community made use of the Intelligence Quotient, or IQ to measure people’s intellect. Although the validity of such tests for measuring intelligence has been debunked, a researcher has come up with a method to measure the IQ of past US Presidents.
A California University researcher looked at the decisions and other factors of former presidents and assigned an IQ score ranging from 120 to 160. According to this research, Ulysses S. Grant, America’s 18th President had the lowest IQ of 120, only 2 points above a college graduate.
Although initially uninterested in academics, Grant later graduated from West Point and triumphantly fought in the Civil War. However, as the POTUS, his corruption and ineptitude led to the 1873 Panic causing millions of American citizens to go bankrupt, including himself.
