THE HIDDEN TALENT OF MARILYN MONROE MAY SURPRISE YOU

History - Science
Marilyn Monroe is best remembered as one of Hollywood's most iconic figures, from her high-profile marriage to Joe DiMaggio through the highs and lows of her own career. Marilyn Monroe was a cinematic star, but she was also Norma Jeane, and the two women were distinct persons with individual talents.
One of her secret skills was for painting and drawing, which she developed after taking an art course at the University of California in 1951 and then enrolling at Connecticut's Famous Artists School to deepen her artistic studies. Though she frequently played shallow characters in her films, she was a profound, emotional, smart, and thoughtful woman.
In 2016, Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles organized an auction of some Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, which included some sketches Monroe had made. The sketches, which appear to be incomplete, include "Lover watching his love sleep," which was allegedly created by Monroe in the late 1950s and shows a woman lying on a bed.
