The Only Animal Hagrid From Harry Potter Was Not A Fan Of

History - Science
Rubeus Hagrid, the famed Hogwarts groundskeeper who introduced a young Harry Potter to the famed university of wizardry arts, is known for many things, including his fondness for animals. While Hagrid gifted Dumbledore the three-headed monster dog, which had the ironic name of Fluffy, he also gifted Harry the beloved snowy owl, Hedwig, as a birthday present.
Hagrid also had an exhaustive list of other animals, including a giant spider and something called Buckbeak the Hippogriff, so it’s no surprise he taught a course titled "Care of Magical Creatures." However, there was one particular animal that he did not befriend — cats.
Readers learn that Rubeus Hagrid doesn't like cats in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," the first installment of the “Harry Potter” series, when he tells Harry that he is allergic to them and they make him sneeze. This is actually the reason why Hagrid decides to provide Harry with an owl instead of a simple animal like a cat.
