THE REAL REASON INK MASTER WAS CANCELED

History - Science
Paramount Networks' "Ink Master" lasted 13 seasons and then suddenly disappeared in 2020. There was talk of a grand finale in Las Vegas even after the show was put on an "indefinite hiatus" in March 2020 — but by the end of the year, "Ink Master" was canceled with no official explanation.
According to reports, "Ink Master" judge Oliver Peck left the show in January 2020 after photos of him in blackface were made public, and his departure helped play a part in the show’s cancellation. Moreover, instead of apologizing, Peck said that the photos would "only be a distraction to the amazing show I have loved being a part of and its many talented artists."
That wasn’t the only reason the show ended though, as Paramount canceled "Cops" after Minneapolis police killed George Floyd, and the network decided to switch to more scripted programming. That said, fans are hoping for a comeback on the Paramount Plus streaming service, which has hinted at bringing back canceled shows.
