While Matthew Perry was best known for his role in "Friends," his mother, Suzanne Morrison, and his stepfather, Keith Morrison, are publicly known in their own right.
Suzanne is a journalist who served as a press secretary for Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. Keith is a true crime reporter best known for his work on "Dateline."
In a 2020 interview with People, Keith spoke of Perry saying, "He's an intense, talented, focused character. He's very bright. That was always the case as he was growing up."
Perry had four half-siblings from his mother’s marriage to Morrison. In his memoir, "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing," he said he cared for them despite the age gap.
