THIS IS HOW MUCH MONEY JOE BIDEN IS ACTUALLY WORTH

Many American Presidents had a massive net worth at the time they assumed the office, like Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, who were both wealthy landowners. Others, like John F. Kennedy and the Bushes, came from rich families, but there have been some who weren’t quite as wealthy, like Harry Truman, who was almost bankrupt when he left office.
The 46th President, Joseph Robinette Biden, can be considered to be in the middle of that scale of presidential wealth. Despite being born to working-class parents in Pennsylvania, Biden has amassed a respectable net worth over several decades.
After a brief stint as a public defender following law school, Biden entered politics in the 1970s, where he would spend the rest of his professional career. Forbes reports that he had gathered a net worth of $8 million by the time he became the new president in January 2021.
In the four years between the end of his vice presidency and the beginning of his presidency, Biden earned about $17.3 million through public speaking and book contracts. Despite the rather impressive haul, over half went to taxes, and additional money was spent on personal expenses and charity donations.
