  • Her work has been mentioned in the Singapore edition of Michelin Guide Magazine.

Clara has spent the last two years writing about food and culture for a variety of publications. She uses writing to explore how people shape and are shaped by the world around them. Her most cherished accomplishment is the completion of a 130-page research paper on food sovereignty as a means for anti-colonial change, for which she interviewed farmers, chefs, and other food folks around her hometown of New Orleans. While she has a passion for writing about topics related to social movements, she also enjoys pieces on strange TV shows or wacky moments in history.

Clara holds a B.A. in Environmental Analysis from Scripps College in Claremont, CA. Her education focused on issues of environmental justice, green design, and grassroots movements.
