Experience
A lifelong fan of the horror genre, William J. Wright began writing professionally about the genre in 2003 as a film columnist for a Washington D.C.-based Goth lifestyle magazine. His work has appeared in print and online in such publications as Rue Morgue, Fangoria, Dread Central, Film Threat, Phantom of the Movies' Videoscope, and Sirens of Cinema (where he served as head writer for four years). William is currently the online managing editor of the leading horror publication Rue Morgue.
Education
William earned a bachelor of arts degree from East Tennessee State University in 1998, majoring in English with a minor in Film Studies. He helped establish ETSU's Film Studies minor with professor and film scholar Mary Hurd and was the program's first graduate.
