• Mike is the founder of The Second Disc, a long-running web site about music reissues and box sets read by more than 600,000 unique users per year.
• He curated and edited a booklet for a career-spanning retrospective on "Weird Al" Yankovic, which won a Grammy for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package.
• He researched and written trivia questions for official fan competitions for Billy Joel's historic Madison Square Garden residency.

Experience

Mike Duquette's lifelong passion for pop music history began with a summer poring over blocks of classic MTV music videos for their 20th anniversary. His interest peaked when he was absorbing the obscurest Wikipedia trivia in college, while building personal playlists based on unique pop chart achievements. Amazingly, his passion has paid off, with bylines in Allmusic, Billboard, Discogs, Observer and Ultimate Classic Rock. He has also had long-term and hired-gun work writing and editing historical research for dozens of the best-selling acts of all time, including Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Prince, Whitney Houston, Johnny Cash, Carole King, Willie Nelson, Miles Davis and the rosters of Motown and Chess Records. He has retired from multiple bar trivia teams with formidable winning streaks, and has contributed liner notes to R&B, jazz, soundtrack, and holiday albums.

Mike graduated from Seton Hall University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations.
