Larry Fried is a filmmaker, writer, and podcaster based in New York. He currently writes as a Senior Critic at Geek Vibes Nation and TV Editor for That Shelf. His writing has been featured on outlets like POV Magazine, Slash Film, Next Best Picture, and Nintendo Life. Before beginning his career as a writer, Larry was an accomplished video producer, director, and editor for over a decade, servicing non-profit organizations across his home state of New Jersey.


Larry graduated with a BFA in Digital Filmmaking from Mason Gross School of the Arts, the arts conservatory on the New Brunswick campus of Rutgers University, New Jersey's largest state school.
