  • Wendy delved into colonial history for her 2014 nonfiction book "The Merchant," part of Cavendish Square's Colonial People series.


Wendy has explored nearly all aspects of media in her work. She started out as a reporter and editor for a business monthly while in grad school at Emerson College before delving into the world of educational publishing as an editor with Children’s Press/Franklin Watts, two imprints of Scholastic. In her freelance career, she has written for such websites as Biography.com and such publishers as Marshall Cavendish, Enslow, and Cavendish Square.


Wendy earned her bachelor's degree from Bard College, an intellectual haven in New York's Hudson Valley. For her master's degree, she went to Emerson College in Boston.
