True Crime, Serial Killers, Weird History
  • In 2019, Leslie started a blog where she writes about true crime cases in Los Angeles, the paranormal, and more.
  • She spends her free time listening to true crime podcasts and researching all that is otherworldly and mysterious.
  • She has traveled to various destinations related to true crime, including Eastern State Penitentiary, the Whaley House, and the LaLaurie Mansion.

As a history and dark tourism enthusiast, she enjoys incorporating these subjects into her work, making her a perfect fit for Grunge. In addition to Grunge, she has written for The List, Explore, Islands, BlueDot Living Los Angeles, and LB Living. After reading too many "Ripley's Believe It or Not!" books as a child, Leslie decided to become a writer, a promise she fulfilled after graduating from college in 2019.

Leslie has a bachelor's degree in journalism from California State University, Long Beach, and an associate degree in social sciences from El Camino College.
